Row By Rows!

I'm trying to figure out my layout for my quilt(s).   I would like to use sashing.... but with the blocks 9"x36" finished that poses some issues with sashing!  4.5" of sashing is too wide!   But anything else and the vertical rows are too short.... I might either lengthen or shorten my vertical rows!  But since I thought of this after completing all my vertical rows, it poses a challenge.... lengthening would be easier.....

Row by Row 2016

Been missing around here for too long!  Yes the KILT was finished.  She has been wearing it since April.... Here is a photo of her at BC Provincial Highland Dance Championship:

I have started collecting this year's Row by Row Experience Blocks.... And I have completed my first Row!  From Laura's Fashion Fabrics in White Rock,BC.  The kit fee for this one is a little pricy, but the sand castle, sun, birds, starfish and crab were all pre-cut and on fusible backing.  Background just needed to be cut and pieced!

Kilt Making

I've been making a new kilt for my 13yo.... Lots of handstitching!   I'm enjoying it.....  These are in reverse chronological order!
