September A Year of Lovely Finishes Goals

My goal for September is to finish the quilt that is on my longarm machine.... And enter it in my guild quilt show...

I also need to start and finish another quilt for the mystery/ugly fabric challenge for the show.... And find a UFO block for the block sale....

August goals finished

August goals were quite simple.... And I finished everything before leaving....

• Finish my mom's bag for Scotland.
  
• Alter a Band Shirt for my 8yo.... make it small enough to fit her.

• My 11yo wants to finish two bags for gifts for her Girl Guide Leaders (these were finished but sorry no photo)
• Make a white National Dress.... for Highland Dance

White National Dress

This month we are in Scotland for the World Pipe Band Championships and other Highland Games....

My 11 yo had one dance competition that needed her national costume... So instead of taking her habitat and bulkiest costume with us I made her a new white dress for her costume. Most girls at home don't wear the white dress but it seems much more common here...

A Lovely Year of Finishes -- August Goals

August goals are quite simple.... but I only have 3 days to finish them as we leave for a Scotland trip, including Piping Live!,  World Pipe Band Championships, and the World Highland Dance Championships at Cowal Highland Gathering.

• Finish my mom's bag for Scotland.  This is using the Lapin Noir pattern by Sew Sweetness.  I was asked to help my mom make it.... I ended up doing all the sewing!   Not quite sure how that happened!
