Where did the month go..... This month started in Edinburgh, a few days wandering Amsterdam.... then we came home to 2+ weeks of the kids home from school. Finally school started 3 weeks late, so my me time has finally arrived. But my 11yo needed a costume, and the girls wanted back to school clothes..... so did I make my September goal ? My answer is kinda.....
Some fabric shopping in Amsterdam. OK this was the first of the month...

This quilt is nearly all quilted and hope to have it done by the end of the night. But sadly kids had homework and doubt I will finish....

And a highland dance costume.... This was an interruption.... fabric hunting took much longer than procrastination and procrastination took longer than sewing!

A quilt top ~ for the quilt show challenge ~ Ugly or flub fabric ~ My fabric was quite nice... The cat is sitting on the challenge fabric.... My daughter and I designed this as a baby quilt for donation to the hospital. The top is done, squared up, backing and binding are cut. It'll be loaded onto the frame shortly..... Quilt show is the end of October!

A finished orphan block for quilt guild show

Some back to school sewing -- finished this dress for my 8yo and an Ottobre skirt for my 11yo.

And a skirt for back to school

Added some bling to a binder with my 11yo who headed to middle school!

- Modern Quilt Finish Quilting -- I have nearly finished quilting one quilt top (that was the first part of my goal)
- Flub Fabric Challenge Quilt for my guilds quilt show -- Top is finished, backing and binding cut out. Just needs quilting
- UFO/Orphan Block challenge -- DONE!
