A Day of Sewing

Last minute sewing - my son had Cub camp this weekend and the 3rd year beavers got to go for Saturday night... but his blanket didn't have ANY of his badges on it. So I did some badge sewing... NOTE to self: keep up with badge sewing so you don't have to sew 3 years worth of badges at the same time :) Added a beaver appliqué above his beaver badges... Also made a small cushion.





I also altered a pair of knit yoga pants taking over 4" out of the width... removed the waistband and shortened the rise slightly. Now they are a little short...
I have slowly been working on my new jeans, and hope to finish them tonight

Fitting Pants Again...

So I took out the CB stitching, and took in the side seams, CB seam and added 4 small darts. Also drafted and applied a curved waistband. I think these look better... thoughts on improving this pair?

I think I need another small dart on the front, and to move the waistband slightly lower over the hips...

Help.... how do I get rid of some of these folds/lines... Pattern KS3315 - it was my TNT pattern....

Machines are home, sewing room not cleaned

I did manage to spend half an hour tidying my sewing room, but it really needs another hour or two of help... But my machines are home, so I hope to get them setup tonight...

Machines are at the spa...

I decided that my machines could really use a tune up especially my serger. The serger needs the stitch finger looked at as it will no longer sew on the narrow setting as the stitch finger is misaligned. Today I took them in and my 3yo was very upset about leaving my machines at the store... I promised her we would go back and pick them up soon. Now I really should clean my sewing room so I'll be ready for their return...
